Ornitocopter is proud to announce his first videogame project: Back in the Caves!
Back in the Caves is an action roguelike videogame with platformer elements, set in a reimagination of the
prehistoric age.
As the cavemen’s hero you will have to explore and fight in procedurally generated caves to ensure the survival of your village and humanity itself.
Beware as the dark caves aren’t a place for weaklings. Prepare yourself for every insane adventure this game will throw your way. And be prepared to die. Because, you know… you WILL die. Survival of the fittest, right?
Collect a wide range of weapons from the skeletal fingers of unfortunate adventurers and watch them become more powerful with every enemy you kill. Every weapon has a special ability. Use it wisely if you want to survive!
Grow more powerful by beating random challenges, finding secret areas and defeating the bosses that are scattered through the caves!
No man is an island: your village is the only safe place in this dangerous land. There you can interact with your fellow cavemen and help them in their struggle to survive.
You will be able to trade your equipment, partecipate in sacred rituals and much more. Help your allies and they will help you back with gifts and new powers.
You can’t protect the village from the enemies that dwell the neverending darkness without your faith.
Faith will be your only light and guidance through the shadows. Show your god-mask protector how strong your belief is and he will reward you greatly.
Every little bit of help is necessary to reach the end of this journey and unravel the mysteries that lie underneath the tribe’s feet.
The game will be released on PC, Mac and Linux

cool beans
i’m sorry. was waiting not for that.but still would look into it. but come on.. expansion pack..?…..
..?
?
Give them a break. Sure, they’re known for MGSO, but they deserve a chance to be an indie developer for a little while. If you’re that desperate for MGEO, just install a bunch of .esp’s. If you need help, I’ll gladly give you a list of over 100 mods that will work with MGSO and with eachother.
that’s a nice reply. i wanted to make sure the developers know how i am personally waiting for the expansion, and a lotlot more people besides me. probably a needless reminder.
I didn’t know there is a list somewhere of mods compatible with the new overhaul. but still, i’d like to have something like a solid one (cause i remember what a nonsense stuff i downloaded and played few years ago).don’t have enough time to view all mods, and not sure i’d..well, anyway, i would like to see a some sort of a list.
And I’ve always thought that it would be great if there was an “official” list of mods – that proved to be good for the overhaul -but just doesn’t have a developer’s [of the mod] consent. and may be a little wiki (like “fan’s”) to fix something it them.
But, well.. f them.. it’s still very awesome. Thank you for the great work
so is there a list somewhere?
Well, you can start here: http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1211599-wipz-morrowind-overhaul-game-experience/
This has a list of mods they are planning to add into the pack. Of course, there are quite a bit more mods that are compatible with MGSO that aren’t listed here (either because they couldn’t get permission or they simply didn’t want to add it).
Here’s my current list, with some redundancies removed (remember to use Mlox, Wyre Mesh, and a level list merger); these are all compatible with eachother and MGSO with a little work through Mlox:
