Tomorrow I’ll re-upload the pack on some more stable sites.

Meanwhile, here’s an “unofficial” torrent: http://isohunt.com/torrent_details/373382445/?tab=summary

  1. Please post more options im freaking out I don’t know what I’m doing lol. I want to play Morrowind again so bad, but now that I’ve heard of this graphics overhaul i can’t be satisfied by normal game play! Just bought game of the year on steam, last time i played was on xbox at least 5 years ago. I’ve been ripping my hair out trying to figure this whole thing out. It seems simple, but so unclear and ridiculous at the same time. Please simplify and specify for someone who is not educated about torrents or extracting and downloading. Thank You. Thank You. Thank You.

  2. Are mirrors coming sometime?

  3. Yay, a torrent! I’ll seed!

  4. Cool! I’m not a torrent person so good news!

  5. I tried using the torrent, and got a load of trojans for my trouble. Is a safer download around?

    • False positive. I created the torrent myself. It’s just the download from the site directly repacked and PAR files added for reparation. Oh, and an NFO.

  6. Can you please reupload it to a non torrent site? I can’t torrent on my school network. I really need this!!!!

  7. Thanks so much!

  8. No problem. My host crapped out, because everybody was incredibly enthusiastic. They shut down my website because it put undue stress on their servers. So for r/Morrowind and of course the people here I’ve made the torrent.

    I’ve also uploaded it to Usenet, by the way. Just in case you might not be a torrent person like Hex151 here.

    • Hey!

      I really appreciate all of the work everyone put into this project –it is going to be amazing to play this game again looking like this

      One question…

      For the Usenet upload is there a URL or am i missing something?

      • You can go to sites such as binsearch.info and look for Morrowind Overhaul. You’ll find my (TheFlyingBastard) upload there.

        • Cool thanks.
          I was able to find the files but I could not figure out how they could be downloaded. I am thinking that this may be above my pay grade.

          • You need two things:
            * A Usenet provider
            * A Usenet client

            Which provider you should choose depends on where you’re from. I pay 7.50 Euros for my connection. I recommend Grabit as a usenet client. You’re going to need to configure Grabit to connect with your Usenet provider.

            When you have done both, you go to that website I linked to before, tick the Overhaul box, and click “Create NZB”. The site will create an .nzb file for you which opens in Grabit. Grabit will download, check for damaged files, repair any that it encounters and extract everything automagically.

  9. Any chance someone could put this up on fileplanet.com?
    And if you can’t, what is the site name usenet.com or use.net. Thank you!

    • Neither, if you are looking for a good provider, i suggest newsdemon or astraweb

      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usenet

    • Usenet is basically the internet before it had webpages and stuff. People would post just text, leaving comments. Kinda like forums. Eventually people started posting files (aka binaries). There are Usenet providers that have huge racks full of servers that store absolutely massive amounts of data that is being uploaded. When someone uploads something to the server of their provider, all other providers sync up.

      This means that the upload I did here in The Netherlands got on a Dutch server, then an American server copied it to its hard disk so now you are able to become a member on that specific server so you can download it. (Assuming you are American, of course.)
